“Humberto Saenz Exhibit”

Houston, Texas, Jan. 25, 2010 – Controversial and talented artist Humberto Saenz will be exhibiting a suite of exciting lithographs in the Library Art Gallery of Lone Star College-North Harris. He brings an innate understanding of contemporary social issues in his highly charged and beautifully rendered art works.

Saenz, who earned an MFA in Fine Arts Printmaking as well as an MA in Art from the University of Dallas in Irving, Texas, confronts issues relevant to the experience of Hispanic immigrant communities. “The issues that interest me are tradition, politics, and the immigrant struggle.” He balances these serious issues within the careful parameters of his creative vision.
